We've teamed up with Alphaaomegafilms.com to produce a new monthly segment for their site titled "Who's that Girl?" Model of the month search 2010...

Congrats to our girls Mariela, Melissa, and Brenda who made the cut for August, September, and November 2009 :)

Designer Tyrone Chablis and Ward Entertainment is in search for modelsfor our up and coming fashion show to be held Sept 20,09. Fashion Week models needed ~Male &female all races

Fashion week show models are needed - openings need to be filled . Weare looking for unique ,exotic looks- not only handsome /beautifulmodels but interesting features. Their are some requirements andguidelines.Because of the amount of submissions you will be contact inabout a week to two weeks. Read following for guidelines.

For Models - all races ages 18 -and up .... Male & female

sizes : Female xxs-s/ 00-2 Male xxs -m height

both male and female height 5'7 - and up

For Women & Men- must include : first name ..lastname..address.. age .. birth date .. apt/suite..mobileoptional..zipcode..city..state..tell us a little about yourself-anyexperience ...etc.

Please submit these measurements for our records .Each category must be filled out for your application to be accepted.

For Women ( measurements in inches )height .. dress size ..chest size ..bust size .. pants size.....waist .. hips .. shoe size.

For Men ( measurement in inches ) height ...shirt size...chest size.. waist ..sleeve inches ...pants size ..neck inches .. shoe size ..

Also you must submit three photo submissions : 1)full length2)waist up 3)shoulder up . Also Do not wear any makeup orpose.Background should be a solid color and attire in photo should be anice form fitting shirt or tank top with form fitting jeans, leggings (be careful that attire is formfitting ,but not revealing or showingcleavage .Hair should be pulled away from face- no hats ,glasses,orjewelery . If you submit a black and white photo- you must also submitthe rest in color ,(color is preferred). No nude photos will beaccepted.Submissions without photographs and measurements will not beaccepted.

Cast Type: Young adults ranging from 17-30 years of age; Ensemble Cast; Ethnic Roles

Dance Requirement: Minimal-Heavy (depends on character)

Vocal Requirement: Heavy/Extremely Demanding

WHAT TO EXPECT

Vocals: Please prepare 16-32 measures of a pop/rock song thatshowcases the range of the character(s) that you wish to audition for.It is strongly recommended that you do NOT audition with a song fromthe show itself. However, you should expect to learn a few bars fromthe show taught by the music director.

Dance: You should expect to learn a short routine taught by thechoreographer. However, everyone is NOT expected to be in dancingclothes since the routine will vary from person to person depending onrole(s) auditioning for.

Acting: You do NOT need to prepare any monologue of any kind.However, expect to be given excerpts from the show that will be actedout.

Mark Cohen- an unsuccessful filmmaker who was just dumped

Vocal- tenor

Dance- medium/minimal; must be able to move well

Mimi Marquez- an exotic dancer who is HIV positive

Vocal- mostly mezzo with some belting

Angel Dumott Schunard- a homosexual drag queen percussionist with AIDS

Dance- heavy; must feel (or learn to feel) comfortable in heels

Tom Collins- a gay philosophy professor and anarchist with AIDS

With April coming to a close, there will be many castings for the month of May and on.. I urge you to begin prepping yourselves and get those photos, comp cards, resumes- everything you possibly need ready to get out there! And go to as many as you can. too. The more castings/auditions you attend, the better chance you will have...

So remeber , get yourself prepared!! Good Luck :)

FYI : this year, don't worry about the height requirement. I just read an email from one of the casting directors of this show that they have pushed the height requirement. I believe the casting is either this weekend or the following. Not sure, but check iy out if interested- best bet- try googling it or the tyrashow.com If you do try out Good luck and go prepared- these "cattle calls" are usually an all day thing- bring a bag and pack it with bottled water, snacks ; tec- refer to our tips page- and make sure to bring a headshot or comp card and resume with you, 2 forms of id and a parent if you are under 18. Don't forget these things or you may not be seen!!! ANd you wouldn;t want to waste a day for nothing right? And remember , if you don't get picked - it's not the end of the world!! thousands of people show up to these things and usualy casting directors already know what they are looking for for this season. So it's not personal. Keep trying and keep your head up :)
